Our Certified Data Erasure systems employs a comprehensive, multi prong approach to data erasure & sanitization. Devices are processed using industry-recognized data erasure procedures designed to remove personal & corporate data prior to resale, reuse or recycling.
1. We process all devices through a certified software-based erasure systems and manufacturer-specific restoration methods. We utilize tools and platforms including Blancco, Phonecheck, Apple Configurator, and OEM factory reset procedures where applicable.
2. Devices that cannot be erased (e.g. no power devices or software issues) are processed through a certified shredding protocol.
Phonecheck is a mobile device diagnostics and certified data erasure platform, which we use for our price quote and corporate upgrade clients. The software securely erases data from iOS and Android smartphones using advanced cryptographic and multi-pass overwrite processes, while generating detailed audit reports and certificates of erasure. Phonecheck also performs extensive automated hardware testing — including battery health, cameras, buttons, connectivity, Face ID, lock status, and other key functions — to help verify device condition and value.
Blancco provides certified mobile device diagnostics and data erasure software, which we use for processing bulk smartphone recycling shipments. Using advanced overwrite and verification processes, Blancco securely erases data from smartphones and tablets to help ensure personal and corporate information cannot be recovered. The platform also performs automated hardware testing and generates detailed audit reports and certificates documenting the device’s condition and successful data sanitization.
Apple Configurator 2 is Apple’s device management utility used to restore, supervise, and securely reset iPhones and iPads. By reinstalling iOS and performing a factory restore directly through Apple’s software, Apple Configurator 2 helps ensure user data and settings are removed before devices are redeployed, resold, or recycled.
