1. Certified Data Erasure & Device Processing
We process devices using certified software-based data erasure systems, manufacturer restoration utilities, and OEM reset procedures where applicable. Our processing platforms and tools include Blancco, Phonecheck, Apple Configurator 2, and manufacturer factory reset protocols.
2. Non-Functional or Non-Erasable Devices
Devices that cannot be successfully data erased due to power failure, hardware defects or software issues will be processed through a certified shredding and destruction protocol.
Certificates of Recycling & Data Erasure
All shipments receive an itemized Certificate of Recycling & Data Erasure detailing the shipment results. Price Quote and selected corporate shipments will additionally receive a comprehensive IMEI-level audit report, including device identification, diagnostic testing results and data erasure confirmation.

Phonecheck is a mobile device diagnostics and certified data erasure platform used for our price quote and corporate upgrade programs. The platform securely erases data from iOS and Android smartphones using advanced cryptographic and overwrite-based erasure processes while generating detailed audit reports and certificates of erasure. Phonecheck also performs extensive automated hardware diagnostics, including battery health, cameras, buttons, connectivity, Face ID, lock status, charging functionality, and other key device functions to help verify condition and value.
Blancco provides certified mobile device diagnostics and data erasure software used in the processing of bulk smartphone recycling. Using advanced overwrite and verification methodologies, Blancco securely sanitizes smartphones and tablets to help ensure personal and corporate data cannot be recovered. The platform also performs automated device diagnostics and generates detailed audit documentation and certificates relating to device condition and data sanitization.
Apple Configurator 2 is Apple’s device management and restoration utility used to restore and securely reset supported Apple devices. By reinstalling iOS and performing factory restoration procedures directly through Apple’s software ecosystem, Apple Configurator 2 helps remove user data and settings before devices are redeployed, resold, or recycled.
